Packery Channel Surf Guide

Packery Channel in Texas is an exposed breakwater break that has fairly consistent surf. The optimum conditions for surfing are during the hurricane season. Works best in offshore winds from the west northwest. Usually gets local windswells, but groundswells do happen and the best wave direction is from the southeast. The breakwater breaks offer lefts and rights. Beware of - Rips / undertow - Localism - Sharks.
